Delete Your Account & Data

You can delete your SaborSpot account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed — as required by the Apple App Store, Google Play, and GDPR Article 17.

Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open SaborSpot.
2. Go to Profile → Account.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and personal data are deleted immediately.

Request deletion without the app

If you can’t access the app (for example, you uninstalled it), email support@saborspot.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and delete your account and personal data within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile (name, email, date of birth)
• Your favourites and saved dishes
• Your visit history and personal preferences
• Your scan history and any quota / purchase records
• All sign-in methods linked to your account (email, Google, Apple)

What is kept

Menus and restaurants you contributed remain in the shared SaborSpot catalogue so other travellers can still use them — but they are anonymised: they are no longer linked to your account or any personal data.

Aggregated, non-identifying analytics that cannot be traced back to you may be retained.
